How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Niro

Resetting the service light on a Kia Niro (2016) is done through the dashboard display and the steering wheel controls. Turn on the instrument panel (without starting the engine). Ensure you are in the main menu. If not, press the button on the steering wheel until the correct menu is displayed. Use the dial or arrow keys to navigate to the service option. Press and hold the "OK" button for a few seconds. The display will prompt you to confirm the reset; press "OK" again. The system will reset the service counter. To verify, turn off the ignition and turn it back on. The service light will be off.
