How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Ceed

To reset the service light on the Kia Ceed, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu displayed on the dashboard.

Scroll to the vehicle settings section and locate the entry for the maintenance interval. Enter the menu and select the service reset option.

Hold down the confirmation button for a few seconds until the system registers the reset of the maintenance interval. After confirmation, exit the menu and turn off the ignition.

Then, turn the ignition back on to check that the maintenance warning is no longer present on the display.
