Replacing the Original Tweeter with an Aftermarket One

Model: Kia Soul MK 1 - Years 2008-2014

The tweeter is located beneath the side air vent on the dashboard: use a plastic lever to detach the vent, but do not attempt to remove it immediately as there is a fixing screw under the cover grille of the tweeter housing; therefore, detach the grille and unscrew the fixing screw of the vent to remove it completely. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the tweeter and cut the power wires of the tweeter itself to use the bracket for installing a new one. Fit the new tweeter into the bracket, then solder the wires of the original connector using a capacitor.
