The guide shows how to replace the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto Mk1. The first step is to remove the lower dashboard panel from the driver's side. At this point it is necessary to unscrew the fixing clip of the sleeve of the air filter box, remove the filter and the box by unscrewing the fixing screws. Once the battery has been removed, it is possible to unscrew the fixing bolts of the 12mm cable on the bulkhead. From the clutch pedal it is necessary to unscrew the 14mm bolt and disconnect the end of the clutch cable. The wire can be extracted from the engine compartment, after detaching it from the support hook. The other end of the cable can be detached from the transmission. Inserting the new clutch cable is very simple as you have to repeat the same operations as for disassembly but in reverse.
