How to Replace the Clutch Cable on the Kia Picanto Mk1

This guide shows how to replace the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto Mk1. The first step is to remove the lower dashboard panel from the driver's side. Next, unscrew the fixing clip of the air filter box sleeve, remove the filter and the box by unscrewing the fixing screws. After removing the battery, you can unscrew the 12mm fixing bolts of the cable on the bulkhead. From the clutch pedal, unscrew the 14mm bolt and disconnect the end of the clutch cable. From the engine bay, pull out the cable after detaching it from the support hook. From the transmission, disconnect the other end of the cable. Installing the new clutch cable is straightforward as you simply reverse the disassembly steps.
