Key Battery Replacement on Kia Cars

The key in the video relates to the 2017 Kia Sorento but is identical to other Kia models produced in the same years. Extract the manual key from the fob by pressing the appropriate button. Now, leverage in the hole left free by the manual key (using a small flat screwdriver) to open the fob in its middle and split it into two parts. Remove the small battery from its housing and insert the new one you purchased. Simply press the two parts together until they click into place. Finally, reinsert the manual key.
