Oil Change in a Manual Gearbox

This guide shows how to change the oil in a manual gearbox. Ensure you use all the appropriate tools safely. Be careful not to remove the plug while the fluid is still hot, as you could get burned. Lift the vehicle to ensure a visual inspection for any transmission leaks. Once you locate the drain plug, loosen it with a spanner, position a container underneath the gearbox, clean, and then remove the plug. Finally, use a pump to add new gearbox oil into the filling hole.
