How to Replace the Battery in a 2015 Kia Sportage

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a 2015 Kia Sportage by following a few simple steps: get into the vehicle, turn off the car, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Required materials: an Allen key, a 63 Amp or 74 Amp battery of the same size as the original. Once the bonnet is open, remove the air intake hose (remove the two clips at its end). Lift the cover that protects the positive terminal of the battery. Unscrew the positive terminal until it is loose (do not touch the two terminals with your hands). Next, remove the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Once the battery terminals are removed, lift the battery from its housing. Unscrew the securing bolt located at the base of the battery using the ratchet. Remove the old battery and insert the new one in its place. Reassemble all parts in reverse order as shown in the video.
