The first step is to remove the dashboard trim; be careful, as in addition to the screws to undo, the trim is also clipped along its length and at the sides. Pull the filter out as it is, in the same direction towards you. The rest is straightforward; simply position the new air filter and follow the procedure in reverse. You can find filters that are both economical and of good quality.
