Some electrical problems occurred mainly in the 2004/2006 production and involve the interior lights, electric window lifts, seatbelt warnings, and central locking.

All these circuits share a common control unit called E-tax, which is mounted in the cabin, directly beneath the heater core. If it starts to leak, it will enter the module, causing these circuits to fail.
