Below are the instructions for removing and replacing the front brake pads on the Lada Niva. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the front wheel; then undo the retaining screws of the front brake caliper, applying pressure to the caliper piston to remove it from the disc, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the old brake pads, cleaning the caliper of any residual dirt; then install the new front brake pads, correctly refitting the brake caliper onto the disc.
