Lancia Thesis - Video tutorial

Model: Lancia Thesis MK 1 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Car stereo
Operation: Disassembly of the radio and satellite navigator

The first tip is to protect the gear lever knob and the side moldings of the central tunnel with paper tape to prevent them from being scratched during disassembly. First of all, remove the central molding of the dashboard, the one placed immediately under the air vents and that passes from under the instrument panel and then the ash tray. At this point, remove the four fixing screws (two above and two below) of the center console, unhook the sockets connected to the display and remove the console itself. Therefore unscrew the fixing screws of the metal support of the car radio, disconnect the sockets connected to it and remove it: now it is possible to remove the car radio from the metal support and replace it with the satellite navigator. Re-attach the relevant sockets to the satellite navigator and fix the support with the screws previously removed. Then re-attach the display sockets and secure the center console with the 4 screws. Reinsert the ash tray, remove the paper tape and reattach the central molding. Finally, check the correct functioning of the satellite navigator.
