In this video, see how to change the battery of the Range Rover Evoque remote; first, lift the metal part where it says "Range Rover" because the emergency key is hidden underneath. Remove it from its housing and pry open the two halves of the remote.

This exposes the button battery, which is held in place by a metal clip. The battery is a common CR2032, which you can easily find at any supermarket or electronics store.

Reinsert the battery, paying attention to the polarity, and close the housing. Put the physical key back in place and then the metal cover.
