To replace the battery of a Range Rover remote control, it is necessary to open the remote in two parts to remove the microchip and more easily extract the battery. The main cause of malfunction is indeed due to a dead remote battery, which prevents the vehicle from being unlocked. Using a flathead screwdriver, we open the remote in two parts, being very careful with the microchip. Using the screwdriver, we apply slight upward pressure. We replace the battery and reassemble the remote. After the replacement, we test its operation by pressing the open and close buttons.
