In this new mini guide dedicated to your second series Range Rover (2012-2021), you will learn how to quickly and safely replace the key battery. First, use a common flathead screwdriver to remove the metal side parts on the cover, then take out the small battery holder and proceed to replace the old button cell with the new one. Finally, reassemble the various components correctly.

At this point, all that's left to do is test the key to ensure it works properly.
