How to Replace the Key Battery in a Range Rover

Model: Land Rover Range Rover MK 2 - Years 2012-2021

Start by removing the physical emergency key from inside the key fob by pressing the button located on the lower side of the Range Rover key. Next, open the electronic key in two halves using the emergency key and prying it apart. This will give you access to the dead battery inside the key. Proceed to extract the battery from its compartment using a flathead screwdriver to pry it out. Once you complete this step, you can remove the battery, finishing the disassembly. To install the new battery and close the key, simply reverse these instructions, and the replacement will be complete.
