How to Replace the Key Battery of a Range Rover Sport

Model: Land Rover Range Rover MK 2 - Years 2012-2021

Start by removing the silver side cover of the key fob for your Range Rover Sport, then disengage and remove the physical emergency key underneath. Next, using a flathead screwdriver and prying it open, disengage and remove the back side of the key fob. Once done, you will access the dead key battery, which you need to extract from its slot. After completing this step, you will have finished disassembling the key. To install the new battery and close the key fob, simply repeat this process in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
