How to remove the factory radio from a Land Rover Range Rover? Let's carefully see how to perform the disassembly. Remove the screws on the center console with a screwdriver (remove the center cover), then, using a plastic or metal trim tool: pry off the central trim panel (be careful not to break the plastic); detach the cover from the dashboard and remove the factory radio (disconnect the various power harnesses). Finally, install a radio or DVD in the console using the appropriate frame adapter and power harness adapter.
