How to Remove the Sway Bar on a Land Rover Defender

Let's see how to remove the sway bar from the Land Rover Defender. Position your vehicle on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable working height; using a socket wrench, remove the sway bar bolts on the right and left sides. Remove the bolts located under the plate that holds the sway bar, then take the sway bar out of its mount, using a hammer if necessary. Install the new sway bar, then start attaching it with all the associated bolts. Reinstall the previously removed bolts on the right and left sides. Check to ensure the sway bar is properly mounted under the vehicle.
