How to Open the Land Rover Freelander Key Fob

Is the battery of your Land Rover Freelander key fob dead? Let's see how to disassemble it. Take your key fob and separate the chrome cover on the side, remove the metal key, and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Open the cover and remove the dead battery inside. Install a new battery of the same size and voltage. Join the two covers of your key fob by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Insert the metal key back into the cover. Check that the key fob functions correctly.
