Removing the Alternator from a Land Rover Discovery

How do you remove the alternator from a Land Rover Discovery? Let's see how to take the part out from inside the engine compartment. Lift the hood, remove the soundproofing panel that covers the engine. Start by loosening the bolts on the side of the alternator. Grab the belt connected to the alternator and disconnect the ventilation hoses if they obstruct the removal. Pull the alternator out from the engine compartment. Connect the electrical terminals to the new alternator, and reconnect the ventilation hoses. Before reinstalling all the cover pieces, test the proper operation of the alternator.
