How to Remove the Alternator from a Range Rover Sport

Model: Land Rover Range Rover L322, MK 3 - Years 2002-2012

Let's see how to remove the alternator from inside the engine compartment of the Range Rover Sport. Lift the hood, remove the cover panel that hides the battery: loosen the clamp screws. Raise the vehicle and remove the shield to access the alternator. Start by loosening the bolts on the side of the alternator. Grab the belt connected to the alternator and disconnect the electrical wires. Pull the alternator out from the engine compartment. Connect the electrical terminals to the new alternator and tighten the screws. Reconnect the electrical terminals to the battery and check the operation.
