How to Replace the Alternator on a Land Rover Discovery

Let's see how to replace the alternator on a Land Rover Discovery. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the hood, securing it. Locate the power battery and disconnect the terminals. Remove the bolts with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the wiring harness covers. Remove all the mounting bolts of the alternator. Once the disassembly is complete, take it out of the engine compartment. Now take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing. Tighten the mounting bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.
