Replacing Key Battery on a Land Rover Discovery

Model: Land Rover Discovery L462, Discovery 5, MK 5 - Years 2017-2024

Remove the side cover of the remote, under which you will find the manual key. Extract the key and use it to split the remote housing in half, as shown in the video (or use a small flathead screwdriver). Voila! Now you will see the sought-after battery. Remove it and insert the new one you purchased: it can be found at any hardware store or large supermarkets. Reassemble everything by reversing the process: join the two halves of the housing, reinsert the manual key, and reinstall the side cover.
