How to Unlock the Automatic Transmission of the Range Rover Sport?

To unlock the automatic transmission of the Range Rover Sport, disconnect the six pins that secure the shift selector trim panel to the center console. At this point, lift the trim panel of the shift lever from the center console. Using a finger, lift the white tab on the back of the shift lever assembly: while holding the tab in this position, you will be able to move the shift selector to the position indicated by the letter "N". With the tab lifted, the selector will be unlocked.
