How to Unlock the Automatic Transmission in a Land Rover Range Rover?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to unlock the automatic transmission in a Land Rover Range Rover, which is useful if you run out of battery or if the vehicle is stranded and you need to move it. First, go inside the cabin, then remove the two cup holders from the center console. Using a small flathead screwdriver, pry up the bottom of the housing. Next, lift the red tape, rotate the released screw 90 degrees counterclockwise, and pull the unlock lever towards you. At this point, the transmission will be in neutral and can be moved freely.
