How to Replace the Gear Shift Knob on a Land Rover Discovery?

To replace the gear shift knob on a Land Rover Discovery, lift the lower part of the boot, disengaging its securing clips to remove it from the center console. Next, grasp the actual knob and pull it to remove it from the gear lever. Once the old knob and the boot have been removed, you can insert the new knob, securing it onto the gear lever and inserting the securing clips at the bottom of the boot into their designated slots in the center console.
