To replace the driveshaft on a Land Rover Discovery, lift the vehicle using a jack or a lift to access the underside. Here, you will find the driveshaft installed longitudinally. It needs to be freed from its housing by loosening the bolts that secure it to the flywheel at the front and to the differential at the rear. Once all the bolts are loosened, you can completely remove the old driveshaft from its position and replace it with a new one.
