How to Reset the Oil Light on a Land Rover Freelander 2

This guide shows how to reset the oil change light on a Land Rover Freelander 2. Insert the key into the ignition; with the ignition on, press the TRIP button (located at the bottom of the right dial) and then the ignition button of the vehicle. Do not press the brake pedal during this operation, otherwise, the vehicle will start. Once the button is pressed, a system check will begin. At this point, the display on the right dial will show "dist" or "date", indicating the mileage and time until the next oil change service. By holding down the TRIP button, you can reset the current entry. Pressing the TRIP button on the "end" entry will complete the reset procedure.
