To replace the remote battery in a Land Rover Evoque, first open the remote. Remove the chrome cover with the RANGE ROVER lettering to insert a lever tool into the gap that separates the two halves of the remote. Now the battery will be accessible and can be replaced after removing the black plastic piece that holds it in place. Once the new battery is inserted into its compartment, close the two halves of the remote and reinstall the previously removed chrome cover.
