The first step is to separate the metal part from the remote by simply using your hands and applying slight pressure. Once the two parts are separated, take a screwdriver, insert it into the slot, and pry open the shell where the battery is located. The battery to use is a model: "CR 2032 3V". Once the shell is open, proceed to replace the non-working battery with the new one. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
