How to Replace and Modify the Reverse and Fog Light Bulbs on a Land Rover Freelander 1

To replace the reverse and fog light bulbs with LEDs, start by removing the bulbs from their packaging; we have chosen 15 mm bayonet fitting bulbs. First, unscrew the 3 screws of the rear light using a T20 Torx screwdriver, detach the light, and slightly rotate the bulb holder with the reverse bulb to extract it. Then, press the bulb slightly and rotate it to remove it. For the reverse bulb, insert the yellow LED into the bulb holder, pushing it slightly, rotate it, and insert the bulb holder into the light housing, turning it slightly. For the fog light bulb, disconnect the connector from the bulb holder, rotate the holder slightly, and remove it. To remove the bulb, push it slightly and rotate it. For the fog light, insert the white LED into the bulb holder, push it slightly, rotate it, and reconnect the plug. Finally, remount the light, tighten the Torx screws, test the new LEDs, and move to the other side.
