This video clearly describes the procedure for removing and replacing the EGR valve in a Land Rover Freelander 2. After opening the bonnet and removing the engine cover, locate the position of the EGR valve. Next, disconnect all connectors, using pliers if necessary, and unscrew all the screws that secure it to the bracket.

At this point, you can extract the EGR valve from your Land Rover Freelander 2, repair it, or replace it with a new one. The assembly process is the same as disassembly but in reverse.
