How to Replace the Seatbelt Lock Mechanism.

Model: Land Rover Discovery MK 2, Discovery 2, L318 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Seat

Remove the seat from its housing in the cabin. Remove the bolt that connects the seatbelt locking mechanism to the side of the seat. Disconnect the electrical power from the mechanism. If necessary, also replace the power cable if it is broken, disconnect it from the other connection located under the seat. Now take the new locking mechanism and position it in the same place as the old one. The steps to follow are the same as seen but performed in reverse order. In the video, you can see that the mechanism replacing the old one is taken from another seat that is mounted differently but can be adapted to our seat. This operation is performed on a Land Rover Discovery.
