To replace the battery in the Land Rover Discovery remote, you need to detach the chrome cover located on the side of the device to access the key blade underneath. This key blade must be removed and can then be used to pry open the bottom of the remote cover.

At this point, you can detach the cover and access the battery located underneath: the battery should then be removed from its housing and replaced with a new part, closing the remote again.
