How to Remove the Radio and Monitor from a Land Rover Evoque

In this video, we will see how to disassemble the entire infotainment system on the Land Rover Evoque; you will need a plastic trim tool and a couple of screwdrivers. Start by unscrewing the screws located on the sides of the center console: access them from the bottom sides, as shown in the video. Then, use the trim tool to pry off the console trim behind the gear shift, as it is simply held in place by clips. This will allow the entire console cover to come off easily; just disconnect the electrical connectors. Now the lower part of the radio will be exposed, so remove the screws holding it in place: simply slide it out and disconnect the electrical connectors. Next, unscrew the screws securing the dashboard to access the screen. There is one on each side, next to the radio; then remove the one securing the dashboard thickness on the passenger side. You will also need to unscrew the top of the steering column to access the screw holding the dashboard on the driver's side. Now the dashboard is free. Lift it with your hands and disconnect the electrical plugs; you can unscrew the monitor and disconnect the plugs. Operation complete.
