Lift the vehicle safely using a jack or jack stands. Locate the differential drain plug, which is usually located on the bottom. Place a container under the drain plug to collect the old oil. Remove the drain plug and let the old oil drain completely. Remove the fill plug to allow air to enter and facilitate draining. Once all the oil has drained, reposition the drain plug. Fill the differential with the new oil specified for your vehicle up to the appropriate level. Tighten the fill plug making sure it is securely fastened. It is important to use the oil recommended by the manufacturer and follow the specifications for your vehicle model.
