To open the hood of the Land Rover Defender, press the button that unlocks the actuator of its latch. This button is located inside the cabin, under the steering column.

It will be positioned at the height of the pedals, specifically to the left of the clutch pedal. By pressing this button, you can unlock the latch.

This will allow you to reach under the hood, move the latch to the left, and lift the hood to access the internal components of the engine compartment.
