To remove the original car radio, first move the gear lever all the way back to facilitate the extraction process. Start by removing the aluminium trim along the edges of the centre tunnel, beneath the gear lever; then unscrew the two securing pins of the centre console located behind the ashtray; next, disconnect the air vents located just above the car radio and unscrew the other two fixing screws.

At this point, pull the entire console forward along with the car radio and display, disconnecting the relevant connectors.
