It is advisable to carry out this repair when the engine is cold since you must come into contact with the engine coolant; start by draining the coolant from the radiator drain plug, disconnect the hose from the manifold into which the thermostatic valve is integrated, then disassemble the manifold and extract the old thermostatic valve, applying the new one with the relative gasket; reassemble everything, fill the refrigeration system with the specific liquid until the level is reached and start the engine until the operating temperature is reached and checking the opening of the new valve; check the liquid level again and bleed the air if necessary.
