How to replace the radio in a Lexus IS?

To replace the radio in a Lexus IS, use a tool to pry off the protective panel at the base of the centre console; underneath, you will find screws that need to be loosened. After these screws are removed, you can pry at the top of the centre panel to extract the air vents. At this point, you can unscrew the screws that secure the radio in its housing, pulling it out and disconnecting the connectors at the back. Connect the new radio to these connectors and reassemble all previously removed parts.
