How to replace the battery of the Lincoln MKS key remote control

Let's see the information that will allow us to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob for the Lincoln MKS. First, take the key fob in hand and start by removing the physical key from inside it; leverage the slot created to open the key fob in two parts, thus accessing the electronic board and the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the battery and replace it with a new one, of the correct type and with the same code; insert the battery in the correct direction and assemble the key fob respecting the order of the components.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge.
