When the key of your Lincoln MKX second series (year 2018) stops working, it is likely time to replace the battery inside with a new one. In the following guide, you will find a description of the procedure you need to follow. Once you have a new battery (model CR2450) available, remove the emergency key from inside the cover and use it to remove the cover itself.

Then, remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the protective cover and insert the emergency key inside.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
