How to Replace the Air Filter on a Lincoln MKZ

To replace the air filter in the vehicle, follow these steps: access the cabin and pull the hood release lever, open the hood, and locate the cover of the compartment that contains the air filter. Using a ratchet wrench, remove the four screws at the corners of the cover and lift it off. Then, pull out the old filter and replace it with a new one (check the type of filter that is suitable for your vehicle, see the owner's manual). At this point, reposition the filter cover and tighten the four screws again.
