How to Change the Remote Battery for the Lincoln MKX?

Anyone who has experience replacing batteries in a remote for any vehicle will have no trouble doing the same with the Lincoln MKX remote. The procedure is essentially the same as for similar remote models and requires no tools other than a flathead screwdriver or a similar object to pry. To replace the battery, simply remove the emergency key, open the remote by prying with the screwdriver in the designated slot as shown in the video, then remove the dead battery, replace it with a new one, and close the remote.
