How to Find the Factory Door Code for a Lincoln MKT

As seen in the video, sometimes you need to obtain the factory door code for your Lincoln MKT. This code is located on the driver's side under the steering wheel. You will need a universal ratchet to remove two bolts and a lever to pry off a protective plastic cover. The video shows how to remove the lower panel: first, unscrew the bolt on the far right, then pry off the plastic cover and unscrew the other bolt. Once the protective panel on the left is removed, you will see a white box with the factory door code written on it.
