How to Replace the Battery of the Lincoln MKZ?

To replace the vehicle's battery, follow these steps: the battery housing is located in the trunk on the left side, and to access it, you need to unclip the two clips securing the plastic cover. Then, remove the cargo area floor panel, unscrew the plastic nuts securing the panel on the tailgate latch, and also unclip the nut securing the side panel next to the battery. At this point, you can access the battery compartment to remove it by unclipping the power terminals. Then, take the new battery and position it, after which reconnect the terminals and reassemble the three panels.
