In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the key fob battery of the Lincoln MKZ, a very simple and quick operation. First, obtain a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery.

To open the key fob, locate the slot on the right side of the upper ring, then insert the screwdriver into it and, using leverage, unlock the two halves. Once fully opened, remove the old battery and insert the replacement, ensuring the positive terminal is facing you.
