To replace the front brake pads on a Lincoln MKC, lift the vehicle so that the front wheel corresponding to the pads being replaced is off the ground. Once the wheel is lifted, remove it by unscrewing the bolts and accessing the components at the back: you can also detach the caliper after unscrewing its bolts to slide out the pads inside.

This way, you can insert the new pads, secure the caliper, and install the corresponding wheel.
