How to Replace the Climate Control Panel on the Lincoln MKT?

To replace the climate control panel on the Lincoln MKT, pry with a tool on the sides of the panel, where the two vertical trim pieces are located. Under these trim pieces, you will find the clips securing the panel and the screws that hold it in place.

By removing the screws and clips, you can pull out the panel, disconnecting its connectors at the back. This will allow you to connect the new panel, inserting it into its housing; after replacement, you can reposition the vertical trim pieces.
