This guide shows how to install the timing chain on the Maruti Vitara Brezza 1.5 with the engine disassembled. From the timing chain replacement kit, take the sprocket and mount it on the lower shaft hub, securing it in place. At this point, to correctly insert the chain and ensure everything is perfectly calibrated, it is necessary for all the shafts to have the reference marks aligned, as specified in the vehicle manual, with the highlighted links of the chain. After properly positioning and calibrating the chain, install the two sliding guides and secure them. Install the chain tensioner in position and check that everything is in place. At this point, you can reassemble the engine onto the vehicle.
